Slightly OT:
Can anyone recommend some newsgroup browsing sofware I can use on the
Pocket PC, hopefully to browse posts and reply via the sync but perhaps
also via my mobile dial up?

Bought a 128mb MMC from Ebuyer (it's the Ebuyer 128mb Multimedia Card (MMC)
Retail at £14.99 plus VAT) the other day.  However my 6230 doesn't want to
see it.  I put it into the card reader on my laptop and the PC could see it
fine but it needed formatting first - tried FAT & FAT32 ...

Orange NK6600 - Weird GPRS Problem..11 Jul 2004 17:53 GMT11
So, I've got an unlocked Orange 6600 on O2.
Every so often (couple of mins), it pops up the 'select connection'
request, as if its trying to connect to gprs... VERY annoying.
I'm guessing its to do with the Orange 'Menu' software trying to connect to
Orange web site allows access to other people's accounts!11 Jul 2004 17:48 GMT7
I was messing around tonight on the Orange web site. I signed into my

then took the option to send a text message.
Orange Contract - Can I Pay Upfront??11 Jul 2004 17:42 GMT7
I'd be grateful if anyone can clarify whether I can purchase a new
Orange handset with contract (Yourplan 120 £25 per month) and then ask

working for me and they constantly call 0800 numbers on their current
pac numbers in another name11 Jul 2004 17:38 GMT1
My wife bought 2 handsets, one for each of us 12 months ago on Orange
contracts and now I am planning to port the number to Virgin Mobile in order
to port back into a new O contract that I have in my name.
The question is that as the PAC number is effectively for a contract that is

Is Virgin GPRS free?11 Jul 2004 16:03 GMT5
I have converted my Virgin Mobile account to "Pay Monthly" so I can't
call 789 to check my balance even when in credit. However I don't
think I'm being charged for my GPRS usage. Whenever I check my account
via the Virgin web site GPRS usage is not recorded.

My contract on Orange is nearing the end of the 12 months minimum contract
