I'm currently on SquareDeal 200 on Orange with a T610. The 12months of this contract end in about two weeks, and I was wondering what happens then. Does the contract just continue? Will I be contacted? Or do I have to contact orange?

My daughter recently took the new faster link from Plymouth to Santander and was impressed with GSM coverage which she claimed was almost continuous. She's a bright young lady (12) but I did have my doubts until my Orange bill arrived today.

As the only reason I'm on three is for the cheap call package, I'm considering locking the phone onto GSM for better stability. I can do this via the manual network selection menu. Here I have a choice between '3 3g' and '3'. Selecting '3' gives me a GSM service.
