Pay As You Go GPRS - Web access23 Sep 2004 09:14 GMT6
I've seen a couple of questions recently about whether or not you can access
the web, etc on O2's GPRS pay in advance.  The general consensus seems to be
only on Orange.
Well I just got mail shot from Amazon http://tinyurl.com/4vkqr showing that
O2 and GPRS WAP charges23 Sep 2004 08:24 GMT1
I recently acquired a Nokia 6230 on contract.  As I had an O2 PAYG SIM I
initially used this.  What has become apparent is GPRS web browsing on PAYG
with the WAP 2 technology is currently not being charged for, even when I
was across the border and using O2 IRL.  I used it there ...

Sorry if this is a dumb question.
But I want to buy a mobile for my daughter.
Pay monthly deals seem the best.
But can I limit her spending in some way with a pay monthly phone?

selling bluetooth headset ??23 Sep 2004 00:46 GMT3
I'd like to sell a blue tooth headset I got with my Motorola V80.
Just wondering if it would work with other Motorola V80 handsets and what
price I might get for it?
Many thanks, Dave

Orange SPV C500 questions (louspeaker, home screen, BT sync)22 Sep 2004 20:37 GMT6
I have recently upgraded to a Orange SPV C500 from a Nokia 7650, and
to be honest I'm not hugely impressed.  I had a few questions which I
was wondering if anyone might be able to help me with:
1.  Loudspeaker - does anyone know how to get the loudspeaker working?
samsung a800 pc link - to copy SMS text messages22 Sep 2004 19:11 GMT1
I would like to backup some text messages I've received, currently stored on
my Samsung SGH-A800, to my PC.  Since the Samsung can hold 200 text
messages, and i've currently got about 190, I'd like to find some way of
doing this automatically.
