We have a O2 mobile contract tariff (old Genie one) and the phone has
been stolen. O2 have blocked SIM etc and are sending out a new SIM.
All well and good but we need a phone to put the card into (for
various reasons we are are not claiming on insurance).

Has anyone had any experience of location using just the phone itself
without a GPS receiver built in. We know that if you use GPS then that
can be very accurate indeed.

Got cable, installed drivers for cable, installed latest version of PC
Suite, connect cable, it installs loadsa drivers, and then says its ready.
Go to Explorer and the phone is not showing in the Phone Browser Bit. Go to
connection Manager and highlight "USB" as the available ...
