I have a new T610 Sony Ericcson. I want to lock the SIM card. The lock option asks for old code. Is this a generic code or do I have to get it from BT mobile?

I noticed from my September bill that SMS's are being charged at either 8.5p and 12.5p for national and international numbers, respectively. Has anyone noticed this? (I'm on the Select 750 tariff)
