When princesses die - how are we all supposed to cope!.....08 Sep 2004 20:50 GMT29
It's a pity that Rachel Spencer (no relation to Heaven's fairest angel, one
assumes?...) has woken the painful memories of Diana's passing! - it's taken
me years to start to come to terms with my loss, and I for one can do
without having the knife of memory thrust into the partially ...

K700i battery life when using Bluetooth08 Sep 2004 16:39 GMT12
Not sure if many owners are aware but there is a facility to hide the phone
when bluetooth is switched on, this keeps BT working for paired devices but
battery life is increased by a massive amount.

Delayed texts and missed calls on Orange - is this normal?08 Sep 2004 03:14 GMT12
I have found that I often receive text messages (from other networks to my
Orange phone) 1 - 2 hours late.  I also find that 10 - 20% of calls that
people make to me are diverted directly to my answerphone even though my
phone is in range with a good signal.  This does not just ...
Would this be possible?08 Sep 2004 02:59 GMT13
There are four networks, each network has to set up their own cells to
cover the UK and phones can only connect to the network that is
programmed into the SIM. Why can't the networks just allow phones on
other networks to use other networks cells but route the calls through

I have an older friend who is looking to get her first mobile - at the
grand old age of 80! So, something nice and simple without having to
worry about multimedia/ringtones/games etc. She's just bought her first

6230 issues07 Sep 2004 18:29 GMT4
Folks, I have a number of questions/comments on this phone, having used it
for some time now.
- Do other peoples' screens get dirty too? It seems difficult to clean using
a normal cloth, so would appreciate any comments or advice on how to clean
Cheapest network?07 Sep 2004 17:23 GMT2
The new T-Mobile monthly price plans are a load of bollocks - no obvious
sustained financial benefit for the consumer and a longer lock in period
with less phone upgrade and price plan downgrade flexibility.
For a low volume but sporadic all network caller - probably 200 anytime ...
