My Z600 has an infuriating habit of "registering" with one of the networks I am
not with, rather than the Vodafone that I am.   It then displays something about
emergency calls only, but as I found out in a genuine emergency, won't let me
make calls then either.

I get an SMS text alert every time I receive an email - this is
because I arrange for emails to be forwarded to my Orange email
account and they'll send you a text alert to your Orange phone each
time a message comes in - it's very handy - and it's free!

I have a Nokia 6100 and i can't seem to receive pictures or anything
from other phones when sending via infra red. I have to point out that
i can send and receive calender entries via infra red so i know the
infra red port on the phone is not faulty but when trying to send to

Been on o2 for a few years now and just looking at the three pay tariffs, i
am tempted to "look" to go over to three.
Are sms texts reliable, (do they actually go through within seconds, not
hours or days?)

My 13 year old daughter has an 02 PAYG online sim . Today she received 8
unsolicited sms messages from a porn site
babenet or something . I know she has never sent any texts here or put her
mobile number in on the web.
