I will be in the UK for 2 weeks as of next week.  Rather than pay expensive

pre-paid SIM card just for the duration of my trip.  I need GPRS and SMS
services but not much else.  Any recommendations?

My ex is moving into a new house and has the option to choose BT or NTL.

at undercutting BT.
However, in today's market with the pressure on BT to open up its lines so

Vodafone upgrades on Online 10005 Sep 2004 18:51 GMT18
A friend of mine has just asked me what kind of renewal deal he can
expect to get from Vodafone on Online 100. I have to admit I've not had
to find out myself and I suspect that he's unlikely to have any purchase
with Voda on this tariff. However, I thought I'd throw this ...
GPRS - real speed??05 Sep 2004 16:32 GMT6
In reality what speed should I expect from GPRS - on Orange?
I was testing it on one of our work phones and laptops and it was atrocious.
I reckon it was no faster than 14.4K
Certainly slower than the max of 56k Orange reckon I should get....
Question about 6230 firmware05 Sep 2004 16:27 GMT1
How is it possible that a bug on one moby can't be replicated on
another moby with the same firmware? Plenty of people with a 6230 have
v3.15 and can't replicate many of the bugs that other people have
mentioned.

Where to buy.. .SIGMATEL external USB to IRDA adaptor.....?05 Sep 2004 12:40 GMT9
I am looking to transfer pictures to and from my Sagem MYV-65 phone and have
