month..now 10mb for the same price) and understand that if I download
say 12kb of data per session I could pay for 20kb if the data block
size is 10kb per session.

I have an OVP Virgin SIM card in my 6230 - it will not connect to GPRS -
what am I doing wrong - is it the sim type or do I need some sort of
activation?

Hi, I bought a Nokia 6600 on Orange PAYG
Unlocked it from where Steve Terry said and entered the code and it said
"SIM RESTRICTION OFF"
ok so I put in my O2 PAYG sim card and it says "SIM CARD NOT VALID"

I have just acquired a Motorola A835. I managed to load in some music

I'm on 02 Pay-As-You-Go and find that when I receive SMS messages I
get charged 10p?? I think I get charged when I receive calls as well
although I haven't double checked this.
Any reason for this?

If only it had a memory card..
Problem with using the organiser - can't change the 'reminder' sound
which is just a short couple of warbles.  Alarm sound can be changed
but apparently not the reminder!  Any help?  

Does the 'Auto Update' feature for the date and time on Orange actually
incur any charges?
