| Existing Orange number -> Line2? | 02 Sep 2004 14:37 GMT | 8 |
My girlfriend has just been given an Orange handset and number by her employer. She has an existing (personal) Orange handset, number and contract. She doesn't really want to have to carry two phones around, so I suggested she got the 'personal' number put on the work phone as Line ...

I have been travelled between S.W. Scotland and N.E. England a few times in the last couple of days and have hade no luck connecting to O2 via GPRS and so obviously cannot send pics either (part of the job) this problem is affecting both of my phones which normally work faultlessly, ...

| V600 vs Z600 | 02 Sep 2004 13:47 GMT | 3 |
I have been looking into upgrading recently, and SE Z600 and Moto V600 seem to be fitting most requirements. In that it has to be non-open keypad, b/tooth etc. The external/internal antenna is not really paramount, nicer without, but other things more important. In the same way ...

| Reverse charge SMS premium abuse - T mobile | 02 Sep 2004 13:12 GMT | 4 |
Getting your money back possible? You didn't ask to receive or expect to pay for the messages yet T-mobile expect you to pay. What's the story on this. I'm guessing it's been discussed a million times I'm sorry, I looked on Google groups but I must be typing in the wrong search ...

I've just been burned by my own eagerness...I bought a brand new Nokia 6230 via Loot in May 2004, I paid £250 cash for the damn thing brand new, boxed & offline, and it has worked perfectly all these months until I tried to call out this morning and it rejected the call.

| c500 vs sendo x | 02 Sep 2004 09:57 GMT | 3 |
I had decided to get the c500 after many weeks of looking at specs and features of various smartphones. I have now discovered that the wmp9 only plays wmv files, what about mpeg1 and other common formats? I know there is pocket-tv for mpeg1, but it would be nice to have one

Been looking at my bill for this month, and Orange haven't credited me for several fantasy 3p per "High Volume Text" to 07800003201 fiasco from last month. I know I didn't send any at all, I don't use my ED50 for text.

| O2 PAYG Online call charges to 0800 and 0808 numbers | 02 Sep 2004 01:49 GMT | 1 |
What are the call charges to freephone numbers from O2 PAYG Online? I just made a 35 second call to an 0808 number and was charged 21p. This works out at 36p per minute. Surely they don't charge more than landlines for a freephone call?!

| Port out of OVP Virgin | 01 Sep 2004 23:38 GMT | 3 |
It seems unlikely, and after doing a bit of investigation impossible, but is there any way to transfer my OVP Virgin number out to a new BT contract (I want the phone and the minutes will be handy) but keep my account active to port back in in a year? Or do I just have to forget it ...
