Can anyone recommend a company which can provide SMS alerts when emails are received? I used to use the free Orange service but that has stopped working and a search on this newsgroup reveals that it is unreliable can can stop

Had a text today which said "<my christian name> go to green box as centre e not ready!", from 07979703820 Sounds like a scam. How did they know my name and has anybody else come across this? I'm on O2 with a sim only monthly contract
