If a number was issued by 02 (pay monthly) and then ported to 3, for the purpose of incoming calls would this be a cross network for someone calling from O2, or from 3 (i.e would 3 route from 3 to o2 and back or just handle the call am same net)

Are base stations active, i.e. transmitting all the time or only when calls are being made. For example if in a remote area if there are no calls being made or routed is the base station essentialy dead? I am particularly iinterested in the TETRA system, as I have a base station

Hi I'm seriously interested in the Nokia 6230 , i like its look and its features , the cheapest deal off contract is 224+2.50 p+p , i am already on contract and to be honest i just can't find a deal even on contract that works out better than buying the phone off contract at :-

I've just got my first MMS enabled phone (Nokia 6820 on O2 pay monthly) but I can't seem to send a message. I had the settings sent to the phone by text and have saved them, but whenever I try to send a MMS I just get "multi-media message sending failed".
