Best phones for texting27 Sep 2004 13:56 GMT8
Switching over soon and want a phone that is good for texting - not too
bothered about other features although camera would be nice also. Are Nokia
phones still meant to be the best for that?  Any advice welcome, thanks.
Was thinking of 6230 or E800.

Orange Tariff Change27 Sep 2004 12:09 GMT9
I'm out of contract tomorrow (yay, no more GD87), so I'm toddling down to
the local Orange shop to sign up for another 12 months and get me an SPV
500.
I'm toying with possibly upgrading to a higher tariff to get the phone for

Tracking phones?27 Sep 2004 10:19 GMT4
On BBC tv during "The Great North Run" one of the commentators
mentioned that they were following BBC runners with "tracking phones".
I always thought that while this was possible, the accuracy could be
as much as 5 miles out if there were insufficient transmitters

C500 question27 Sep 2004 09:35 GMT7
Does anyone know how I can set the contacts filter on my C500. I have put
over 3000 of the companies business contacts on the phone, but it mixes with
my personal numbers. I cannot see a way of putting the business contacts
into the business contact filter.
Made call to Hoverspeed seacat ??27 Sep 2004 06:28 GMT4
I was suprised that I got though to my parents when I called their mobile
and got though with perfect reception while they were half way accross the
channel between Newhaven and Dieppe.  Does the hovercraft have it's own cell
?
7610 3G?27 Sep 2004 05:39 GMT13
We were told when we bought it that my wife's 7610 was 3G and that we
could take advantage of that technology when it was rolled out.
I thought that was video calling, but if the screen is on the front
and the camera on the back, how on earth is it supposed to work???

can anyone tell me if it's possible to edit the dictionary on a nokia 3315
(which is basically a newer version of the 3310, but only available in
south east asia and australasia - the 3410 is the equivalent in europe but
has a different keypad layout).
