Any ideas? Contract is coming to the end of it's 12 months soon, and I fancy something nice.

My daughter has a Samsung A-800 on Orange PAYG. As normal it was supplied locked. We have previously tried a Voda SIM in it to confirm this. We were messing around tonight trying to download some ring tones from

| Verbal "text message" sent to my landline | 21 Nov 2004 20:08 GMT | 34 |
I was woken up the other day at about 6 am by a computerised voice apparently reading out a text message to me (something to do with a packed lunch IIRC - it *was* 6am!). Anyway, clearly a "wrong number". What the hell's all that about then? I've never heard of any service like

| Pre-pay with no minimum call charge? | 21 Nov 2004 18:54 GMT | 4 |
I see that Virgin is introducing a 5p minimum call charge. T-Mobile already has a minimum call charge (a pain in the arse when connecting to 1571 on engaged). Is there a pre-pay mobile service that doesn't make a minimum call charge?

| Virgins Website | 21 Nov 2004 18:24 GMT | 1 |
Is it me or is the Virgin Mobile users website as reliable as a Latvian schools webserver? In a week I think I've only been able to get in once. How are supposed to manage your account online if it never is?

| TMOBILE and receiving pictures | 21 Nov 2004 14:37 GMT | 2 |
I cant seem to receive picture messages from my friends, instead I get a web link. On calling CS, Ive been told that I need to send one first. I know its "only" 40p or whatever, but I refuse to be held to even that ransom. Is that right? Seems a bit dodgy as well as petty if you ask ...

I have bought a used nokia hdw-2 bluetooth to use with my nokia 6600, unfortunately it has no instruction manual with it. When I try to pair it up with the 6600 it asks for a passcode but the previous owner has forgotten it, is it possible to reset the passcode, if so

| Nokia 3410: Master Reset | 21 Nov 2004 10:22 GMT | 5 |
I suspect the phone is ready for the bin, but just in case.... My lad left his 3410 (switched on) in his trouser pocket, put his trousers in the washing machine, and guess what ! We discovered it in there about 20 mins into the cycle.

| Texting/calling a UK based Czech phone number... | 20 Nov 2004 23:25 GMT | 3 |
I have O2 PAYG Original, receipient has Czech (0042) number and is currently on international roaming in the UK. Approximately how much are the call/text charges? Couldn't find this on the O2 site, but suspect it may be more than the standard international rate.
