3 sim & IMEI changing18 Nov 2004 20:28 GMT25
I've just discovered that my 3 sim works very well in my very old Ericsson
688, which is still in perfect working order. I believe that if 3 catch me
using this they'll send me a new sim which won't work in the old mobile.
If I had accidentally changed the IMEI number on the 688 ...

Internet retrieval of images via MMS?18 Nov 2004 17:50 GMT3
I have a Motorola V500 (contract with Orange) and I'm trying to retrieve a
couple of photos off it. It doesn't seem worth buying a data cable just
for this. I assumed that there would be services available online to allow
me to do something simple like send an MMS to a given number ...

Advice on upgrade tarrif on select 50018 Nov 2004 16:22 GMT4
I am currently on select 500 and it is upgrade time.
I know the story of phoning up customer retentions and pretending that I
want to leave...but I was wondering what would be a good deal.
My average monthly bill is around £40 (incl the £25 line rental) on select
Possible to be charged for receiving SMS messages ?18 Nov 2004 14:05 GMT2
Each month my employer hands me the phone bill for my company mobile, I
highlight the private calls and pay for them. This month some of the called

A colleague says that this has happened because I've received some of ...

Is this possible or is the NEC locked to 3 ?
Any help appreciated.
Free Weekend Texts (run out?)18 Nov 2004 10:29 GMT15
Just had a text from Daughter1 saying (translated into English!) that she
put a fiver on her phone on Friday, and now she's only got 4p left!
She hasn't had anything from Orange to say it's run out, but presumably it
has.
O2 SMS18 Nov 2004 09:43 GMT3
Is anyone else having problems receiving SMSs on O2 today? I'm on O2 online
pay monthly and haven't received SMSs since about 10 o'clock this morning. I
can send no problem, and friends and family also on O2 are receiving the
messages, I'm just not getting theirs.

The charger for the new phone looks diffrent and has an output of 5.7v -

I ussume that new phones aren't compatible with old chargers and vice-versa?
