I've got a J70 which I'd like unlocked from Orange. Is it possible to do this by entering a code via the keypad, or do I need to contact a dealer who has any required hardware? Cheers,

| Vodafone tariffs that don't allow porting in | 17 Nov 2004 23:33 GMT | 2 |
I was just surprised to see that there are Vodafone offers that say "Price is only available to customers taking a new mobile number and not available to customers who are transferring an existing mobile number from another service provider or network...".

It's fair to say I'm a fool... and meant to send the booster post to the digital TV NG... which I have now done. Sorry... I'm off to the kitchen to smeer some egg onto my face to save anyone coming round and doing it for me. Thanks.

| Nokia 6600 | 17 Nov 2004 22:51 GMT | 4 |
As a result of the post above about the 7610, which I have had my eye on, I started wondering if a 6600, with it's slightly more useable keypad, might not be a better bet, even though a lower spec handset. What do you think of the 6600 in it's own right, and up against the 7610? ...

My T-Mobile contract expires on 12th December. I'm 99% certain to be leaving them, so what's the best time to ask for the PAC? If I do it now, I get charged £10 for it, if I do it outside of my 12 months it's free, but I'll then be in credit with T-Mobile, which could

I have just had to buy a Orange PAYG Sim card 'pack'. Phone is up and running in/out calls. It's an Orange Sim card, but when trying to register on the Orange web site so I can use Oranges 'new PAYG smart features' it says I need to be an Orange phone user to register!

About once a week I get a new "service message", on my O2 Nokia 6310. It's always a free ringtone offer, which I always delete. These messages don't seem to originate from O2 and I'm suprised that some random company is able to send such messages?

I have just bought a mobile from e2save. I am happy with it but I want to check some details with them. Their customer support is an 0871 number. What is an 0871 number? Can I work out how much I am going to be charged for telephone customer service? I'd sooner understand it before ...
