It is possible using the options on your handset to divert unanswered calls to anywhere you want - so - are there any companies offering "alternative" voicemail systems to compete with the network's own?

Why don't all the Network providers share the same 3g masts for their respective networks, or do they? I was told today by someone (an MP) that they all use different frequencies and hence need their own masts. I would have thought that was rubbish.

Hi, I'm British, although I live in Italy. A mobile operatror here (TIM) offers 3g services via either EDGE or UMTS, could someone please explain to me the differences between the two. I'd also like a reccomendation as to which i should go for.

About 4-5 days after saying I would get a refund for the text problems and being incorrectly charged I see they have finally done so. It might have helped if they did not say "you have been credited" when in fact the credit did not appear when dialing 453.

Can I use a mobile phone as a bluetooth modem? Is so how? I currently have a SonyEricsson T610 and Windows XP SP2 on a laptop. I have GPRS access through the T610 and I would like to use the laptop to access the Internet while on the move.

Has anyone had difficulties in getting through to Forward Cellular? I can't seem to get through to them at all. You are constantly on hold. They're customer services appear to be quite poor. AMO
