old genie tariff05 Nov 2004 23:39 GMT7
I am on the old Genie tariff that gives 600 free texts and 100 inclusive
minutes. My question is do I still get free WAP? or has o2 changed it to
something else. I tried to contact 02 but it is impossible to get any sense
from them.
Orange Upgrades05 Nov 2004 23:16 GMT4
Are they supposed to offer you based on the tarrif your on?
I was only on a £20 per month tarrif yet have a high monthly spend (£75 -
£100) as use it for things that are not normally included in any tarrifs
anyway as well as normal yet they still offered me a P900 upgrade for free ...
Motorola V22005 Nov 2004 22:08 GMT3
I have a Motorola V220 on Orange, and I'm having trouble understanding the
phonebook.  I have entries in both the SIM and phone, but can't seem to
select only one or the other.  That's to say, if an entry is in both
phonebooks I see it twice on the display.  How do I switch ...
Good GPRS service?05 Nov 2004 21:58 GMT24
Can anyone offer any advice on a cheap GPRS contract/pay-as-you-go?

Master resetting a P90005 Nov 2004 21:54 GMT2
Can anyone tell me the lock code to enable a master reset of a P900?
I tried the usual 12345, 0000 etc. but neither work. There is no mention of
it in the hand book either. I havent changed any of the phone lock/sim lock
codes from the default either.
Putting old SIM card into new Orange PAYG phone05 Nov 2004 21:53 GMT3
Have got a Orange PAYG account with Out Here/ free weekend texts on it and

Is there any advantage to registering the new SIM card (it's a nice blue

Tottenham Court Road05 Nov 2004 21:21 GMT14
Well, I went there as advised and looked (didn't buy) at mobiles.
Waited in vain for any of you guys to turn up, so I got pissed by myself <g>
I noticed some of the boxes the phones were in looked as if price stickers
or whatever had been peeled from them before putting on sale - ...

I want to know how to crack PUK Codes. I have asked this before and
had a couple of comments that my reasons for this are not honorable.
This is not the case.

data cable for unlocking?05 Nov 2004 20:53 GMT2
How easy is it to use the data cable for unlocking a Sony Ericsson F500I?
I've never done it and don't want to make a balls up of it - is it better to
send it away to be done if I don't know what I'm doing?
7600 and 02 3G05 Nov 2004 20:33 GMT7
Just a thought. What would happen if a 7600 went out of 3 coverage but
could only locate an O2 3G signal?  - unlikely, but not impossible.

The return ofthe 90# hoax ?05 Nov 2004 20:21 GMT7
We had an email from our telecoms manager today advising that Vodafone had
been in touch advising of the 90# hoax.
The email went along the lines of advising us not to press the 90# or 09# as
it will give fraudsters access to our phones, as they have invented some new
