Is it possiblt to do a full factory reset by using a serial cable and FBUS masetro software. Or does it need to be done by an unlocker using the clip method. Ta in advance

Coming to the end of a 12 month contract with Orange of which I took out with a T610. Was on the £25 Per Month 120 Minutes contract for six months before I downgraded to the £15 one with 30 minutes because I didn't use the minutes that much as I mainly text.

Just got a new 6610i on Orange, but, want to be able to use my company voda sim in it as well so I don't have to carry round 2 mobiles. Tried the free unlocking program available on the web but that didn't work, tried it twice and nothing, says incorrect code.

When using Vodafone with a Nokia phone it's possible to select a "cell info" setting which, iirc, displays the std code of the geographical area you are in. Is it possible to select this setting using a Sony Ericsson phone (say K700 and F500)?

Since someone just asked about German SIMs and got such a good answer, my turn now! I'm off to Spain in two weeks time and I'm going to get a PAYG SIM. The area of Spain where I go to most often only has MoviStar coverage.
