a voltmeter shows the battery has full voltage but it fails to power
on the phone, is there any way to test wether a battery is truly dead
other than trial and error ?

says 7600 on the pack, but it doesn't / can't fit, the top end of the holder
is far to thick, I suspect it's one for a 7250.

amazed how different they can be. What I really don't understand though is
how can some of them quote different rates for US landlines and mobiles,
