Please forgive my ignorance but I'm kinda new to all this.... I have a Nokia

great, but I hate the handset.  I want to go and buy another handset to use

My brother-in-law had a problem with his moto v600 recently and took it
into the o2 shop where he bought it  (contract) and they sent it away
for a few days to be fixed.
When it came back, it seems they must have upgraded the software because

Best smartphone now available on PAYG10 Dec 2004 22:56 GMT4
The Orange Shop are selling the C500 for 150 notes on PAYG that
includes 3p texts to any network for 6 months. If you trade in an old
handset, it costs just 140 notes and the handset can be any model
provided it works and can be switched on (charger and manual not
Tesco PAYG roaming10 Dec 2004 22:42 GMT7
My sister is going on a school trip to Germany this week. She wants to take
her phone with her. Does anyone know what network she'll have to select if
auto doesn't work? The manual Tesco supplied is pathetic. It doesn't even
mention changing number to start +44

been able to access my account/send text messages the whole day, at
least with mac os x browsers (safari, firefox)- anyone getting through?

Their site seems to have fallen over. Hmmmm....what a surprise!
Can anybody else get through?
I'm now beginning to wonder how many people are going to have to be let
down gently over their latest free contract deal!

SPV C500 Answer Phone Speed Dial Problem10 Dec 2004 17:32 GMT7
When I press and hold 1 on my handset, the phone dials 123456 instead of
123. Orange have told me this cannot be changed as position 1 is reserved.
Hard reset does not solve the problem. Anyone else ever have this problem? I
am having to return it under the 14 day clause now.
Tri band handset recommendations ?10 Dec 2004 17:24 GMT1
I'm spending Christmas in Vancouver this year so I thought I'd use the

With the exchange rate I should be able to pick up a bargain, but are

Does anyone know if a Threepay phone can be used abroad (roaming)?
Has anyone got a contract phone on 3 with roaming enabled? Did you have
problems getting this enabled? (i.e an additional credit
check/refused/required deposit) etc?
