If not, then why should they charge for failed calls whilst roaming?

Contract sin in a PAYG locked phone10 Dec 2004 09:18 GMT2
Am I right in thinking that my vodafone contract sim will work in any
locked payg vodafone phone, such as the sharp GX15?
I am hoping that the network locks do not care if a sim is contract or
payg, as long as it is for the correct network.

Does anybody know if O2 have any plans to support EDGE in the future?

Cross network charges09 Dec 2004 20:58 GMT17
Sorry for this stupid question but how do the mobile operators know when to
charge a call as cross network? Is it based on which operator the number
originated from or do operators have an up-to-date database of which number
is on which network?
