| Contract sin in a PAYG locked phone | 10 Dec 2004 09:18 GMT | 2 |

Sorry for this stupid question but how do the mobile operators know when to charge a call as cross network? Is it based on which operator the number originated from or do operators have an up-to-date database of which number is on which network?
