NTL is to launch an all-out assault on BT as part of an aggressive

I have been getting a few service messages lately on my Nokia 6310i, and
although someone said just reply with STOP, I can't do that because
there is no number to reply to.
Err, is there any way at all to stop recieving these 40p a time messages?
