i bought a nokia 6230 from cpw 3 weeks ago,after that long trying without success to set up o2 payg mms i took the phone back to find the handset was at fault & now have a new one..while this was being done the assistant told me within 12 months none of us will be able to share ...

I recently upgraded from the excellent 6310i to the Nokia 6230. The biggest thing I noticed was that whereas with the 6310i the battery lasted a good week (even while using it to talk), with the 6230 if it lasts 3 days you are lucky?

Ok Boss wanted a copy of the new golf advert on his phone downloaded the video converted it to a 3gp however when i try and transfer it using the pim and file manager supplied with the phone it gets to about 85% complete and the phone turns of infra red.

My mobile has quite a weak ringtone and I can miss calls even in quiet settings. ISTR there was a device which can sense when a mobile near to it is ringing. And if so then the device makes its own loud ringing tone.
