I am considering a tariff on the "3" network.
It offers 750 mins of x-network calls, £40 monthly line rental (1/2 price
for 9 months), free motorola a1000, 150 sms, etc.
It is available from dabs mobile and similar offers with carphone warehouse,

A friend of mine has been receiving some unusual, premium-rate texts on his
T-Mobile PAYG phone.  They appear to be coming from the number 89669 via a
T-Mobile SMS Centre (prefix +447958).  The messages appear as a series of
asterisks/stars (*) on his Nokia 8310.

I've just bought one of these from a German retailer on Ebay.
It works OK, though it is less sensitive than any GPS I've used before
and almost useless behind any glass. It's fine outdoors. The power
consumption is very low which is good.

Nokia 8210 on Orange, my wife's phone. This message suddenly pops up from a
standby. There are no messages in the Inbox. After pressing OK it goes back
to a steady state but after a while the error message appears again. Any

For the last couple of days, when my father attempts to phone my 3 network
phone from his virgin mobile he gets a recorded 'calls to this number are
barred' message.

Hi, a friend of mine has a 3 pay as you go phone. Some time on Sun
