A friend of mine has been receiving some unusual, premium-rate texts on his
T-Mobile PAYG phone.  They appear to be coming from the number 89669 via a
T-Mobile SMS Centre (prefix +447958).  The messages appear as a series of
asterisks/stars (*) on his Nokia 8310.

How do they compare?  What are the drawbacks?

My 12 month contract expires 6th March so I called 3 to give notice that I
did not wish to extend the contract only to be told to call back on the 6

I've just bought one of these from a German retailer on Ebay.
It works OK, though it is less sensitive than any GPS I've used before
and almost useless behind any glass. It's fine outdoors. The power

Hi, a friend of mine has a 3 pay as you go phone. Some time on Sun
