In most phone manuals it recommends keeping batteries at a minimum temperature of 15 degrees. I have a few new batteries that have been stored in my garage at temps lower than this, but probably still above freezing. Is this likely to have harmed them in any way, or should they

As someone who is poised to sign up for a Vodafone contract I was rather concerned to read the recent brief thread regarding Vodafone's voice quality. Some people were asserting that the quality was worse on Voda due to the supposed higher compression (or something!).
