Nokia 6630 - setting MP3 as ringtone21 Feb 2005 11:03 GMT6
For some reason if you use the default "aac" file extention it won't
allow them to be set as ringtones or alarm sounds. Change ".aac" to .g2c
and it works. Anyone know what I should rename MP3 files to?

application unlock thing just doesn't work (Server errros after a really
long wait etc.)
I read on here that you can email the Orange developers and they'll send
Talkworld online21 Feb 2005 00:44 GMT2
Hi there, just wanted to ask a question about Talkworld online.  I'm
thinking of getting a contract from them but there is quite a lot of
cashback (well over £500) involved as it is one of those very
expensive tariffs.  I've never heard of this company before and I

Orange OVP Virgin changing20 Feb 2005 22:59 GMT11
I am currently looking for a new mobile phone. At present i am on the Virgin
OVP plan which will not allow me to keep my number even though i want to

Cameraphone file systems20 Feb 2005 22:35 GMT3
Both my K700i & the T610 before it reuses the same file names after deleting
the pictures, is this the case with other makes? I find it a royal PITA &
can result in pictures on my PC being overwritten if I'm careless. My Oly
C4040 camera does duplicate the file numbering.
Nokia 3220 (no caller ID?)20 Feb 2005 22:28 GMT5
Hi Group
My Wife has a Nokia 3220 (orange pay-as-you-go), but it doesn't show
the callers name or number when they call, just 'Call'. Is there a
setting that she can change?

O2/Equifax Update20 Feb 2005 20:39 GMT4

against his name and doesn't even show up on the electoral register.
So just to see what happens I apply on line for the O2 30 day contract
SIM. Put his details in but my address.

Hi, I have a M2000 on contract and I have a problem with the bluetooth. When
I bond my bt headset with the phone I have no problem, the m2000 picks the
headset up and the phone goes to a hands free profile. However after a while
the headset will lose connectivity with the headset ...

2 phones, 1 BT headset?20 Feb 2005 17:22 GMT10
I have a works phone, and my own, both have bluetooth.
The works Nokia 6310i has a full car kit, which is great up to around 50
mph, and then road and wind noise make it difficult to use, meaning I need
to shout to make myself heard. I drive a Ford Focus, by the way.
