SE K700i phonebook question22 Mar 2005 22:54 GMT3
I've moved my phonebook from my old phone to the K700i by swapping SIMs to
and fro. The K700i has decided to attach a mobile phone icon to every number
and there seems to be no way to edit this icon to change it to a
home/work/fax icon as appropriate. Or is there... ?

Picture might be too large22 Mar 2005 21:37 GMT1
When I try to send a picture taken by my orange T610 it comes up with the
message "Picture might be too large for the recipient to view" but gives me
only option to Send it anyway or not. There does not seem to be any facility
to reduce it´s size or have I missed something?

Anyone heard of S.C.S.22 Mar 2005 18:28 GMT1
Just got a text from them telling me at as a Tmobile customer I can
have a free camera phone upgrade for loyalty, and that I have to phone
an 0845 number by tomorrow. Service centre number: +62816124, and it
was sent from 7 hours in the future, so possibly a call centre in Asia.
easyMobile not charging for first few seconds?22 Mar 2005 18:16 GMT3
It seems, at least from my bills, that easyMobile isn't charging for the
fist few (3 or 4) seconds of each call. Can anyone confirm this (I can't
find any details on their webpage)?
Gareth.

Yet another callback scam.  Just got a text message from 0871 210 3978
stating that I had voicemail and was to call that number in order to
listen to it.  This is a callback scam that will most likely play back

Will VOIP drive down mobile & LL call prices?22 Mar 2005 15:56 GMT32
I worked for a telecom test gear manufacturer 3.5 yrs ago & the New Big
Thing was VoIP. Like many NBTs such as 3G, they always take far longer than
marketing droids would have us believe to reach us.
I admit to being somewhat sceptical at the time - no QOS, enough b/w for ~1%
Best Phone/PDA for business email + basic PIM/web?22 Mar 2005 15:22 GMT14
I'm still to find a phone that quite does it for me!
I've tried the original Motorola on 3 with a lovely interface, but the
phone was too big ("is that a phone in your pocket or are you just
pleased to see me?!") and more importantly no phone reception in my
Problem with texting Canada22 Mar 2005 14:55 GMT4
This is probably a silly question, and I'm half expecting it's going to
be a result of using such an ancient phone, but... I have a friend in
Alberta, Canada who I'd like to be able to text. I don't know what sort
of phone he's using, but it's on the Bell Mobility network. ...
