| SE K700i phonebook question | 22 Mar 2005 22:54 GMT | 3 |
I've moved my phonebook from my old phone to the K700i by swapping SIMs to and fro. The K700i has decided to attach a mobile phone icon to every number and there seems to be no way to edit this icon to change it to a home/work/fax icon as appropriate. Or is there... ?

| Picture might be too large | 22 Mar 2005 21:37 GMT | 1 |
When I try to send a picture taken by my orange T610 it comes up with the message "Picture might be too large for the recipient to view" but gives me only option to Send it anyway or not. There does not seem to be any facility to reduce it´s size or have I missed something?

It seems, at least from my bills, that easyMobile isn't charging for the fist few (3 or 4) seconds of each call. Can anyone confirm this (I can't find any details on their webpage)? Gareth.

| Will VOIP drive down mobile & LL call prices? | 22 Mar 2005 15:56 GMT | 32 |
I worked for a telecom test gear manufacturer 3.5 yrs ago & the New Big Thing was VoIP. Like many NBTs such as 3G, they always take far longer than marketing droids would have us believe to reach us. I admit to being somewhat sceptical at the time - no QOS, enough b/w for ~1%

| Problem with texting Canada | 22 Mar 2005 14:55 GMT | 4 |
This is probably a silly question, and I'm half expecting it's going to be a result of using such an ancient phone, but... I have a friend in Alberta, Canada who I'd like to be able to text. I don't know what sort of phone he's using, but it's on the Bell Mobility network. ...
