Has anyone ever heard of Carphone Warehouse not being licenced to sell a

This was the excuse used by Carphone Warehouse in Paisley and Braehead when
trying yesterday to buy the O2 PAYG Nokia 7260, advertised as available at

Looking for a PAYG handset, must be able to use a Bluetooth headset and

I have called various 0800 numbers within my free minutes allowance on Three
before. I got my bill today which included  £7 (OK, not much but annoying)
for dialling some 0800 numbers.
Three say that apparently there are two types of 0800 numbers, band 1 and 2.

Does anyone have any adverse comments on this model?  I'm only interested in
making calls!
