Just looked up the roaming rates for my select500 sim in USA. They
seem pretty steep.
Seems sensible option is to put that sim on divert to a locally
sourced sim card whilst in USA - Orange charge 15ppm to a USA mobile

I've just purchased a mobile from ebay (still awaiting delivery) .  It is
being sold as new, boxed etc...  But the paranoid side of me is saying what
if it stolen and will be blocked about 2 weeks after I start using it?

I am currently about to come off contract and am gonna give PAYG a whirl to
see of it works out any cheaper - if it doesn't then I can always revert
back to contract again.
