Well, ive made the plunge and purchased a 7100x from O2. Have been a major
blackberry lover for years, and currently use the 7100v as well.  The 7100x

Anyone know if vodafone now owns phones4u?  I bought a phone from a p4u
store ages back and it was a singlepoint contract - I was just curious as to
what had happened with the stores since vodafone bought singlepoint.

Don't laugh, but my wife has an old Cellnet Easylife pay as you go
handset with £30 credit.  She only uses it very occasionally - so the
credit tends to increase every year.  The handset is a Philips 'brick'
and about twice as big as the average current phone.

As as been said on this newsgroup o2 seem to have removed the ability for
wap dial-up minutes to be used to access email, instant messaging etc.
Someone on here mentioned tht there was a wap number that could be used
(07712932932) which I have used. However I didn't check my bill, ...

I've got tomtom mobile downloaded, and I'd like to see if it's a viable
alternative to using the M2000.
