I remember there is/was a site where you could unlock various Nokia's
for free as I unlocked my old 6310i using this. But I cant remember
the URL. Does anyone have it handy so I can unlock my 6230?

I have recently moved from PAYG to contract kept the number thus the sim as well but now I can't
text out it just gives an error.
Is the number I need to use different for texting on contract than PAYG if so can anyone supply it.

Are Tesco now _really_ charging for GPRS use?

Hmm,
This has been on sale with o2 retail and online for a few weeeks now,
not a bad price either.  I am just wondering why non of the third party
dealers have it?

I am trying to get Gmail to work on my Nokia 6230. I got my tesco.net email
to work, I then changed it to Gmail along with all the correct port
settings, still didn't work.
Any ideas?

I am with 3 on a monthly contract. I have a NOKIA 7600 that came as
part of my deal.    I hate the phone and would like to replace it with
another.  I would obviously like something that will work with the 3
network, not too expensive and not too gadgety.

Anyone know if this phone is available on payg?

I currently have a Nokia 7610 which i am pretty happy with but there
are a few things that annoy me.  One is the quality of MP3, which, lets
face it isnt very good.  I am also getting a little but annoyed with
some of the "slownesses" as i like to call them, such as texting, menus

E2Save has just slashed the minimum term cost of the Nokia 6230 and the
Siemens SL65 on Orange contract. They now offer these handsets for free
on Orange's OVP Relax 100 tariff (normally £23/month) with 12 months 1/2
price line rental. This works out at only £138 over the minimum ...

I read on Orange's website that to get GPRS you need Orange World
Access 4 which gives you 4 megabytes of data per month, do you have to
use this to get GPRS which effectivly is a monthly charge or can you
get true PAYG and just pay for what you use, like with O2

I'm extremely confused about 3G and mobile internet. Here's what I want to
do, maybe someone can help.
I have no interest in video calling or downloading ITN news but I do like
the idea of browsing the web from my phone (NOT using a laptop).

Any idea when they're going to launch ?
Any idea of tarriffs etc ?
