K508i on T-Mobile internet accounts q19 Apr 2005 12:14 GMT1
Total mobile luddite here, I hate the things and will not carry one myself.
However, I have just upgraded the wife's Nokia 3310 to a SE K508i (what can
I say, it's shiny).
While blundering around the new menu system a few times I accidentally
Device to interface mobile with PSTN line?19 Apr 2005 11:49 GMT2
I'm looking for a device which can interface a mobile with a PSTN line,
such that when you call the mobile number, you will be given the
dialtone of the PSTN line.
I recall seeing something like this before but can't remember any
Clubmobile and refunded line rental deals19 Apr 2005 11:13 GMT3
Looking for some advice on the apparent too good to be true deals on
Clubmobile? Free and very cheap phones with decent Orange contracts with
lots of subsidised or refunded line rental.
For example, the Orange SPV C500 (I know its been discontinued, but not a

How many peoples mobile numbers do you know ? People say "the hassle of

The message below was on this NG two weeks ago.  Has anyone else managed to
get this deal?  Sounds good (too good??) but the O2 reps say they know
nothing about it .....

O2 voicemail questions18 Apr 2005 22:40 GMT1
Two questions on O2 voicemail.
1. How can I make the voicemail prompt me for my PIN every time I call
901.  I have it like that on one O2 account but seems to be no option
for it on my new O2 online PAYT account.
Odd display on my Nokia 6310i18 Apr 2005 22:10 GMT2
I recently noticed an addition to my Nokia 6310i display which is just
the word "Message" right in the middle of the display.  I have no
messages that i am aware of and have not intentionally set any other
program in action that might cause this.  I would reset the machine to
PHONE/PDA help needed.18 Apr 2005 21:51 GMT3
I need to get a device that I could use as a phone and as an organiser + GPS
(so possibly a CF slot although I guess I could connect it bia bluetooth).
Since my 12 months with O2 ended a while back, I'm wondering what's out
there that would meet my requirements? It has to use ...
O2 PAC Code18 Apr 2005 21:37 GMT5
OK so I've finally had it with o2, I'm unable to send texts or make
calls quite often now, So I email them for my PAC code to go elsewhere
and they tell me I have to phone a premium rate number to obtain it.
They may as well let me take my number to easymobile with me as I'm
PAC18 Apr 2005 21:17 GMT3
Sorry if this is a stupid question.  If I ask for a PAC code to transfer my
mobile number to another provider, and then make no use of it, just it does
lapse after a period of time.  Or is the process irreversible once the PAC
is requested?
Simply-Fone 07744 Charged at Premium Rate by Orange18 Apr 2005 21:05 GMT5
On my latest bill I notice that my calls to 07744 no longer come out of
inclusive minutes and are now charged at 50p per minute!
There is also a message from Orange when I phone 07744 advising that
the call will be charged at a Premium Rate.
New phone charging18 Apr 2005 20:25 GMT7
Having just recieved my new upgrade, (V3) again I have been given
contradictory advice on how long to charge the phone for the first time.
Told originally by OCS to charge for a minimum of 16 hours, then read the
Orange manual to learn it should be a minimum of 4 hours.
