Is it all a big waste of time after all?!

Just comparing coverage for the UK from the carphone warehouse wesbite for

This is quite a contradition to what the coverage is like where ...

Orange 3G phones - which one ???04 Apr 2005 20:48 GMT3
Or family have always tended toward Nokia phones, but last year, when
we moved back to orange, the only Nokia with a decent colour
resolution was the 6600. My wife liked this phone, and had one, but I
never really got on with it, and got a Samsung E700 instead, which I

6310i reliability04 Apr 2005 19:40 GMT11
Are these phones generally problematic? A friend is on his second one and
seems to have nothing but trouble with them.  The first one stopped
working with his Bluetooth headset.  The second one drops calls even with
a strong signal and won't switch off unless he takes the battery ...

Block calls that withold numbers?04 Apr 2005 18:27 GMT23
A european directive obliges telcom providers to implement anonymous call
rejection but the mobile operators don't do it. Whilst my complaint with
OFCOM is being dealt with are there any phones that reject anonymous calls
or texts?
Porting (but briefly)04 Apr 2005 18:19 GMT1
All,

I have already ported a number to. Is it possible to get a new PAC code off
Orange (for porting to a PAYG)? If so, will the validity of this PAC code be

I am going abroad and was wondering what are the costs associated with
diverting calls on Orange.   If my phone is set to divert to a uk number,

that the call will have gone abroad first?   If they are ...
