| Current lowest tariff for Orange to switch after 6 months? | 24 Apr 2005 03:29 GMT | 7 |
Couldn't find anything more recent than 6 weeks ago when 'googling', so thought I would check. What is the current lowest tariff I can switch to on Orange for the remaining 6 months of my tariff? I am exploiting a cashback.

| OSPS cashback - which invoice to send? | 24 Apr 2005 03:29 GMT | 5 |
Claiming a OSPS cashback and obviously I'm anxious they have no excuses! I connected on 16 Dec with a 4 month cashback due now. However my invoices from Orange come out on the 10th of the month. So my latest inv is dated 10th Apr showing me connected to the right tariff and bills ...

| A better tariff? | 24 Apr 2005 03:29 GMT | 3 |
It's been a while since I've had to look at tariffs, so I'm not entirely sure what's out there. I've had my OVP 500 free minutes for £25 (from 3) contract for about a year and it's pretty good. However, I'm spending £20 on texts per month on top of that.

| First Orange bill recieved - no itemised billing | 23 Apr 2005 22:02 GMT | 6 |
Got my first Orange bill on a new contract the other day (17th Mar connection , bill dated 8th Apr, on Talk Time 120 + 120 extra mins free). I noticed that it hasn't listed any of the calls I've made, even though it says I've used 55:38 mins of my allowance. I also have 0.21p ...

| Orange Wednesday's Ad - "with GPRS, you're totally trackable". | 23 Apr 2005 20:46 GMT | 8 |
There's this ad on in the cinema for Orange Wednesdays, and the bloke says: "With GPRS in your phone, you're totally trackable". Doesn't he mean GPS? I know GPRS can pinpoint the cell, hence the smart "stuff in your area" on Sim2 cards, but I didn't realise it gave the exact

Does anyone know how to get rid of the floating clock that appears when you don't touch a button on the 6230 for while? I just want it to show signal and battery meters etc, like most of the old ones did I think.

| Free MMS gateway feasible? | 23 Apr 2005 18:41 GMT | 3 |
On Orange it costs 25p to send an MMS message, however even with the most basic Orange World tariff the data in the MMS (up to a max of 50kb) should only costs 5p to send via GPRS. There seems to be scope for a third party to setup their own free

| Routing 0800 numbers to mobiles | 23 Apr 2005 17:22 GMT | 7 |
What are my options for routing an 0800 number to a mobile? Ideally something which does not require a landline, or if it does will work with an NTL line. The intended user will use it for a taxi service, if that's relevant.
