Or in other words, are today's mobile phones worse than older models which
typically had more power and an external antenna?

Got a Nokia 3230 free upgrade on O213 May 2005 22:11 GMT1
I am a fairly light user
I had an anytime 200 contract that I never used all the minutes. It was well
out of contract, but I expensed it so never really bothered changing it.
Every time I called O2 to inquire about the price of a replacement phone

Has anyone used one of those "ghost" twin-sim holders, where you have to cut
your sim cards down to size to fit.  Is it safe, does it work, any problems?
Thanks.

GPRS Pricing & 3G13 May 2005 20:33 GMT6
It's my opinion that the main reason for using 3G would be the higher data
rates available for messaging, internet access and video.
You might think, therefore that network providers would encourage the use of
data apps on 2.5G to get us dependent on these services and want more.

Orange Mobile Office Card - Bytemobile crp13 May 2005 18:43 GMT1
I installed the latest version of the software for the Orange 3g (yeah
right, maybe in London, despite what the map says!!) card and
discovered that I could no longer download email.  The problem seemed
to be being caused by the bytemobile software that it installs with it.

vodafone callcatcher working???13 May 2005 11:11 GMT14
Well the 9th May came and went and no callcatcher to be seen or heard.
I did read another thread which appears to suggest some people are getting
the service, but not everyone.
It must be on a roll out. Does anyone know more information ?
Vodafone D50013 May 2005 10:47 GMT1
Just got my D500 on Vodafone. VERY surprised - apart from the Vodafone live
being set as the home browser page, there is NO Vodafone branding on the
phone - not even a logo.
Had a k700i and it was crippled with Vodafone stuff
