Having read about a new service in a Sunday Paper called SIM4travel, I
did a search in this newsgroup for the whole of 2005 and found no
results.
Anybody used this system yet and have any views on it?

Im thinking of changing over to the talkalotmore payasyougo tariff, I'm
currently on the one where you have to top up £10 per month and you get 300
free texts but no call time, calls charged at 25ppm for first three mins
then 5ppm after.

I recently bought a Nokia 6230i and have been trying to get the Orange
MMS/GPRS etc settings sent to me from the Nokia website. Unfortunately,
nothing's come through yet! The website says the settings are sent

Having recently acquired a GRPS mobile (Motorola V500, Orange) I have a

1) If using the built in web-browser does this count as "busy" - or can

I understand that only Orange tariffs are allowed. Could someone please
confirm that this is correct?  My son has Select 500 on L1 and it may be
convenient to get the same for his business activities he is starting. Is
this tariff classed as an Orange tariff and  therefore also ...

I understand that Blackberry is a 'push email' device.
Do you get the option to store a copy of 'pushed' email on the receiving
server, for later retrieval via something like OE or Thunderbird?

I want to transfer a jpg picture to my phone to send in a picture
message.  I have already changed it to the correct size of 128x128.

What's happened with PTP messaging?
Months ago, the Gadget Show were claiming that PTP was going to be the
next big thing to challenge conventional text messaging.
They demonstrated PTP phones that were available for the UK market.

I've been looking for an alternative to FwdCellular (great value for money
and honest service) and I can't find one: E2Save, OSPS, Dial a Phone and so
on have some "okay" offers but not really in the same league as FwdCellular
in terms of choice and cashback level.
