Subscribe to GPRS first.. erm?21 Jun 2005 23:28 GMT1
My olde Voda PAYG 3510i has suddenly decided to keep telling me to
subscribe to GPRS, even though I'm not attempting to do anything GPRS
related.. I only use it for the text packs. Any ideas why? Could
someone have tried sending me something that needs GPRS? I dunno how

I have been an o2 customer on the 300 free texts as long as I top up by £10
per month for a long tiem
Last week; Sunday 12th June I decided to move to the 'talkalotmore' tariff
were I get as long as I top up £15 pounds then I also get 150 mins off peak

the nokia browser doesnt.

I have a samsung a800 which I'm sure is network unlocked but requires a
simlock password in order to change sims. I have a data cable for this
phone; is there any software available that would enable me to reset the
simlock password.

got my screensaver set to a picture i want trouble is after a few minutes it
goes back to the screen with a clock on it,unlock it and picture comes back
on again,
How do i get the clock to stay off and the picture on all the time??

Was thinking of getting a 6680 sim-free but they seem a bit expensive at
the mo, like 350-400 quid. My current contract is up in September, will
the price have come down by then?
And does anyone have any real gripes with it (apart from custom f/w)?

According to Nokia's site all new phones purchased since April 2005
have 24 months warranty. However when checking with my local 'trusted'
service point I was given en expiry date of July 2006 for a 6630
produced in April 2005 which is the usual 15 months. I have checked

does anybody know if O2 are allowing internet access via GPRS on the
Online PAYG SIMs. I have set it up on my laptop to connect via a 6630
using either O2 Connection Manager or Nokia One Touch access and
neither seem to gte very far. they say page found and connect at

Is it possible to send multiple files (such as photos) from my Samsung
D500 to my laptop using bluetooth?  Sending one file is easy but
sending multiple files does not appear to be an option.

Having swapped from a Nokia 6230 to a K750i, I'm having a little trouble
getting used to the K750i's email client.
It appears that there's no way to delete emails from the 'phones inbox,
other than to sync it with the server again - is that correct?

please check your facts before posting comments in response to someone
asking for help.
you just told me that O2 was the best for PAYG internet and it turns
out they don't even do it.....
