Is it possible to roam within the UK with a UK phone?
The reason for wanting to do this is to get the maximum coverable
possible in rural areas, which are often not served by all operators,
but which operator does is random.

I'm looking to change my tarriff on Orange, and AFAICS there are no
Orange tariffs for less than 120 mins - can that be right, or am I
missing something?  SWMBO is on a talktime 60 min tariff I think - is
that no longer available.

I just noticed today that O2 plans (the high-street ones anyway) allow
you to use your inclusive text allowance to pay for MMS and texts sent
to the UK whilst roaming.  Both of these cost 4 inclusive texts.
Does anyone know if Orange would match this on an OVP O2 tariff? It's

I have a couple of 'car cigarette lighter socket to 5V USB' adaptors
that I use/used successfully with a USB lead/adaptor for a PDA, T68i,
T610 and SE910, but my Orange SPV C500 refuses to charge from them - the
max current output of the 'biggest' adaptor is 700mA - is the SPV

Just got a riiing sim, but I am unable either to send or receive sms to
and from my UK mobiles.
I have checked that the message centre number is stored, and have even
tried 2 phones.

Can anyone confirm that this phone DOES NOT have removeable facias, despite
being almost identical to the 6020....which does.
I want a simple Nokia, without Xpress on covers as I'm fed up with dust

Have just upgraded from 6230 to 6230i (much better phone btw)
Have managed to get all my contacts, organiser and notes from one to the
other using Nokia PC Suite 6.5.
It doesn't copy my wap bookmarks, downloaded apps (Tube map and guide book

This might sound like a stupid question, but the Riiing website doesn't give

Trying to unlock a Nokia 3220 on Orange.
I've used Crux 2.31 and NokiaFree Calculator 3.10 - they both generate the
same batch of codes but I've received a "code error" when trying code 1 and
code 7.

Been trying to downgrade my tariff to the cheapest one possible.
OCS say their cheapest is £18pm though on the web site it suggests I can
change to Anytime 30 for £15. OCS denied this was a tariff and then said it
was for "new customers only".

Have been told by CPW that I can have an upgrade just waiting now to see if
I can get the 6680 on voda
I know I can get the D500 as that was confirmed today with the upgrade price
and all the ins and outs.

a friend of mine is having problems connecting up a bluetooth headset, the
phoe is a motorola v600 and the headset is HS801. when they are turned on
and the phone is set to search it does not find the headset,
any suggestions?
