| PAC number transfer to existing number | 12 Jun 2005 23:31 GMT | 1 |
My contract expires end of August 2005 (with BT). If I were to enter into a new contract with another provider during July or August and take their new number, can I transfer my BT number to that number when my BT contract expires?

| o2 payg question | 12 Jun 2005 22:40 GMT | 6 |
I'm currently on the online 200 pay monthly tariff. Looking at moving to pay monthly and had some questions. If I go for the online talkalot with messages then I get 300 free texts (or 100 mms) when I top up £10. If I hit the 300 then can I add another £10 to restart the

| Car kit converter | 12 Jun 2005 22:09 GMT | 2 |
I have recently bought a second hand car with a Nokia Car Kit already installed. I believe it is the CARK134 kit. The thing is, I have a Sagem MyX-7 phone which I am happy with. I am trying to find a converter which will plug into the Nokia cradle, and

| Dial-up Internet Access | 12 Jun 2005 15:06 GMT | 12 |
I'm gonna be without phone + internet access for a few days next week, but since I have a mobile, I'll be able to use that to dial-up to an ISP. I'm on O2 PAYG so the GPRS/WAP doesn't give me access to the few services I need... naturally, the days I'll be without web access are

| DKU2 USB2 | 12 Jun 2005 11:50 GMT | 1 |
I don't know where I got the idea from, but I thought some of Nokia's latest phones, especially things like the 6630 and 6680 (my phone) supported USB2 and therefore faster connections. It's still slow.

| O2 and the 6880 | 12 Jun 2005 02:38 GMT | 9 |
Got an email telling me its out on the 20th June. I went to the shop to check it out earlier - its a chunky f.cker isnt it, probably 3 times as big as my 6230! They said it may be possible for me to request an early upgrade (3months

| Odd Inbound Hidden SMS's from Vodafone | 12 Jun 2005 01:30 GMT | 2 |
On my new 6680, the log shows everything in and out a lot better than all my previous phones, so maybe this has happened before and I justs never had access to a good enough log. Any way, I sent my first MMS yesterday, and within a couple of minutes I got

| Bargains galore at LX Direct! | 11 Jun 2005 21:43 GMT | 30 |
As I'm sure you are all aware by now, there's a long list of current LX Direct discount codes doing the rounds at the moment. The best of these offer £25 off or 25% off (for first time buyers). I've decided to do a trawl of the LX Direct website and compile a list

| O2 WAP/MMS Settings on Samsung | 11 Jun 2005 20:25 GMT | 2 |
I've downloaded the O2 WAP & MMS settings for Pay & Go from the O2 website, but I can't seemt o get these services to work...When I try to use WAP it says network unavailable. My brother has WAP and he can use it, so I know it's not an O2 service problem.

| Further reply from Cellantenna. Opinions please? | 11 Jun 2005 20:09 GMT | 2 |
I would appreciate the opinion of respected members of this group. I asked Cellantenna how they thought they were allowed to rebroadcast on the 1800 gsm band in the UK when a license appears to be required to use these frequencies.
