newbie query10 Jun 2005 11:35 GMT1
Hello. Have just got a new phone from Vodafone.  They are "porting" my
number across from O2 next week.  Question: do I put the sim card in the new
phone and switch it on for the first time before or after the number porting
transfer day?   Thanks, sorry if it's a stupid query.

2) Are there any 3rd party products that do it better?

My father is in his 70s.
He wants a mobile that is very very simple to use. He only wants to be

messaging.
