Grrrrrr! I thought I _knew_ which phone I wanted...22 Aug 2005 15:05 GMT2
I'd just about figured out what phone I was going to get (the iMate
sp3i) after I decided that all the fancy features (wifi, keyboard etc)
weren't worth it for the additional weight and size, then I read about
QTek's upcoming offerings (the 83x0 and 9100)... wifi in a 106g phone? ...
All it takes is three clicks.22 Aug 2005 14:48 GMT10
Isn't it about time we stamped out the abusive, and childish, behaviour
of certain people that seem intent on disrupting newsgroups?
In Outlook Express, all it takes is 3 clicks, one on the subject line of
the sender, one on the 'Message' header in the toolbar, and one on the
Nokia 6310I repairs ?22 Aug 2005 13:55 GMT4
My trusty old Nokia 6310i - now approx 3 or 4 years old - is in need
of a repair.  Certain keys are starting to get non-responsive ...
maybe a keypad membrane or something ?
Anyway - is this repairable, and who is recommended nowadays ?  Any
E-mail replies from Virgin CS problem, Red "Image.Tiff"22 Aug 2005 12:47 GMT4
Virgin CS are excellent, however, whenever I receive a reply from them,
it is contained within an "Image.tiff", bright red, which means
a) when I print, I get a page full of red, I can read th reply, but I
fear for my red cartridge, and
Different deals for the same phone and tarrif from e2save22 Aug 2005 11:57 GMT1
Spot the difference! I seemed to have stumbled on two similar but different
deals from the same supplier when I accessed their site through different
route.  Is it intentional?

6680 4 days of use, my thoughts.22 Aug 2005 10:53 GMT13
Hi folks. I've been reading this group quite a lot over the past couple of
years and now have the chance to put something back into it and so I thought
I'd share my upgrade experience with you all.
For the last year I've been using a 6230 on o2. As with my previous Nokias
Orange PAC codes22 Aug 2005 10:19 GMT4
My contract on Orange is almost up, so I've arranged to transfer the
account to PAYG. Anyone know how long it needs to be on PAYG before I
can request the PAC code to take the number elsewhere?
Thanks.
Benifit from not buying directly from the networks22 Aug 2005 03:44 GMT5
Wondering if someone knows what the benefits are from signing upto
contacts using companies other than directly from the networks, e.g.
carphonewarehouse, phones4u etc.
From what I can see they cannot compete from the deals you can get
Anyone changed their network before?21 Aug 2005 21:37 GMT9
I just wondered if there is anyone in the group who has changed their
network by requesting a PAC code?
I am going to buy a new phone and monthly contract from a different
network to the one I am currently with but am a bit confused about how

Locating an unbadged D750i21 Aug 2005 16:54 GMT5
I like the D750i as it looks like a W800i but with a more subtle Silver/Blue
finish.
They also look rather more stylish than the K750i while having the same
firmware.
Nokia 6680 - simlock21 Aug 2005 12:59 GMT2
Is there any chance of unlocking Nokia 6680? I'm currently in UK
(Banbury) and I've wanted to buy myself this phone, but as far as I
remember there were problems with unlocking it.
Best regards
email 6230i21 Aug 2005 03:05 GMT2
Is there a 3rd party email application that can be used on a Nokia 6230i, as
opposed to the built-in one (which on my phone appears to have an
intermittent saving fault in the software causing newly written messages to
be lost before they can be sent).
6310i security code20 Aug 2005 22:51 GMT4
My company has given me a cast off 6310i from someone who left. The
security code has been changed from 12345 so I can't turn bluetooth on.
I don't have a cable to connect this to a PC.
Any ideas?
