Fed up with 663016 Aug 2005 21:33 GMT7
Went away for 3 days on business and it didn't even last 1 and a half
days with Bluetooth off, and being switched off at night! It also
switched its self off many times while in my pocket, in the 6 month's
I've had it it's only done that a few times, but in Watford it seemed to
Smallest, lightest phone with BT and GPRS?16 Aug 2005 21:30 GMT8
I have given up with my MDA Compact. I really don't like Windows Mobile
- it's clunky, buggy and heavy, and the phone element is utter garbage.
I also don't like the Treo PDA/phones because I really like the idea of
graffitti, rather than an archaic keyboard.
OSPS Cashback question16 Aug 2005 19:52 GMT9
Does anyone know the cashback terms for the Nokia 8230i on Orange ?
The Invoice says 6 months free line rental but does not say when I can
apply for it or how much it is.
I've tried calling OSPS several times and they have twice sent out
SPV C500 and bluetooth dongle16 Aug 2005 18:42 GMT14
I bought a Bluetooth dongle for the PC so I could connect my phone and
transfer files.
The phone is set to discoverable but the dongle/software can't find it.
I installed SP2 on Windows and now it does find it but it won't actually
Cheapest Orange tariff to downgrade to16 Aug 2005 18:16 GMT11
I've just got past the 6 month point of an Orange contract which would
cost £25pm (120+120).  Was worth it for the cashback equivalent to 9
months line rental plus a free SPV C500.
I don't use anywhere near that number of minutes (perhaps 15 per month!)
UK to USA SMS text messaging16 Aug 2005 17:06 GMT4
I am having trouble sending sms texts from my Vodaphone mobile here in
the UK to a US Cellularcell  phone in the USA.
I wonder why this is and is there a work-around?
TIA,

Honda FMX650 Brand new, OTR £4,500 but the best bit is the insurance.
Eighty five quid!
There's no way I can really afford the bike but bloody hell, what a

Hmmmmm  only 10 members of staff employed, perhaps this would signify why
they have a horrendous reputation

Slim modern phone?16 Aug 2005 11:09 GMT5
I'm looking for a new phone: small, slim, no moving parts (really dislike
flips/clamshell/sliding phones), preferably no camera, definitely no MP3,
FM radio, Sky TV or whatever else they try to stuff into a supposedly
simple communication thingy :)

Anyone registered a text saver recently?
Recommendations?15 Aug 2005 23:36 GMT6
My contract is due for renewal in a month and I'm looking to upgrade my
phone when the time comes. I currently have a Nokia 6230, with a 1GB MMC
card.
When I upgrade I'd like a phone with the following attributes (or as many as
O2 Online Billing Troubles15 Aug 2005 22:08 GMT5
I've been having problems with O2 Online ever since I changed tariffs
following a returned Upgrade in May.
I returned my unwanted Motorola V3 to O2 Online, who then offered me the
promotional O2 Online Sim Only 200 tarriff (with 400 minutes, and 1000
