I'm looking to be able to send/receive faxes from my mobile phone or laptop whilst abroad. Does anybody know whether this is possible? I have heard that Orange do a fax forwarding service whereby you can divert all the faxes received from your office fax onto a mobile phone

I have one of these. Winfax detects it as a Class 1 fax modem but it doesn't work. Some months ago I did finally manage to fax through the previous Voda-badged GPRS card (Sierra 750) but it took ages to get it working.

Every year, my mobile phone company replaces my phone with a new one as part of my Vodafone billed-calls package. This means that I've now got several unused phones without SIMs (I transfer the SIM to the newest phone each time).
