| The future of ringtones? | 17 Sep 2005 22:05 GMT | 12 |
I'm not in the habit of downloading or buying ringtones, but clearly the followers of The Crazy Frog, etc. are. Just out of curiosity, can anyone tell me if the new MP3 phones change things? Are the Crazy Froggers now getting into making clips from sound

I'm thinking of adding Vodafone 'stop the clock' to my Smartplus price plan, but I'm a bit unclear whether the first 3 minutes are charged at the off peak rate of 5p or the full rate of 30p per minute. (eg, will a 10 minute call cost 15p or 90p?)

I called today at 7pm to cancel (end of 12months cashback contract - ends in exactly 30 days). Many transfers, cut-offs, and the rest of it. 4th call in and it says "we are now closed". First time I've ever called '333' as well. Bloody hell.

I don't seem to be getting very far with a problem relating to my fax service. As soon as Wildfire was disconnected, my fax service hasn't worked. Callers get a network message advising the number isn't recognised.

| XDA Mini | 16 Sep 2005 20:32 GMT | 6 |
Toying with the idea of getting a XDA Mini - its almost the same size as a 6680 - what are your opinions on it? I guess it will be a lot more difficult to use than a standard phone for simple calls etc?

Is it possible to unlock a '3' Nokia 6630 and then put a standard 2G SIM card in? I want the super camera etc but I don't want the crappy 3G network. Any better suggestions?
