I have a Sony Ericsson P900 on Orange. It has been fine for about 6 months,
with no probs.
This last 2 weeks or so it has randomly rebooted itself. Twice during calls
& 3 or 4 when just idle.

Right, I'm 2 months from the end of my contract with Orange, my P900 has
been damaged and Orange Care will not honour the insurance, sure I'm arguing
with them, but in short I can't afford to hang around for the outcome of
that, if I get a replacement I'll flog it now as I can't ...

I have had a Nokia 6230 for 13 months and the screen has just started
fading to white, so that the text and icons are getting fainter by the
day.

for free with their £25.99 per month tariff. I checked again today and the
phone is £79.99 which is more than I'm prepared to pay for it.
