I'm on Orange with the automatic divert to answerphone switched off.
I want to leave my telephone on, but I do not wish to receive any calls --
instead, have the caller immediately directed to a message indicating that I
am unavailable.

I have a Nokia 6230i mobile phone connected to the Orange network and I want
to use it to send and receive emails from my NTLworld ISP.  I rang Orange
and they tried to talk me through the procedure but when I try to connect to
my NTL server, I get the message "email settings ...

I use a mp3 as my ringtone but whenever I charge the phone (using the USB
cable) and the phone rings, it plays a completely different tone than my
normal one.  Am I missing a setting somewhere?

Whenever I recieve a answerphone message the answerphone message icon does
not appear.

Two weeks ago i went into the Orange shop in Brighton and saw an advert
for the SPV c550 on payg. It was advertised for £179.99 plus if you
took in an old mobile you would get £30.00 disc bringing price down to
£149.99. I asked to purchase one and was told its not available on

Anybody know of a working SMS/text to email service that actually
works?
I don't want to sign up anywhere, just be able to send a text to a
premium rate number which then sends out an email.

My daughter has a VK530 unlocked and connected to O2 PAYG, after makiing a
call or sending a text the message "You balance is    " is displayed, i.e.
the credit is NOT shown. This used to work in her old phone an 8310. Any
ideas how to fix this?
