Data cable q23 Sep 2005 10:53 GMT2
I have a 3220 and am currently looking to get a data cable. As far as I can
see there are two on the Nokia site that fit my phone - the DKU-5 and a
CA-42.
What's the difference between them? Is one a better bet than the other?

SPV C500 - backlight won't go out23 Sep 2005 10:41 GMT2
My SPV C500 works fine except the backlight won't go out, even when
it's supposedly turned off. As a result the battery life is abysmal and
I have to remove the battery if I want the phone turned off otherwise
when I switch it back on the perpetual backlight has sapped a lot of
Taking phone number to new phone after old one is lost.23 Sep 2005 10:38 GMT1
I know that if I buy a new phone I can take my number with me, but what
if the old phone is lost or stolen? Do I need the sim card (or the
serial number) to be able to transfer my number to the new phone?
ie - what info should I take note of now *before* I lose my phone?

Samsung D600 date23 Sep 2005 00:48 GMT4
The D600 was meant to be released in the UK on the 15th but I've heard
nothing. I'm due a free upgrade with O2 and I cant see any other phone
(with the features I want) that can challenge the D600.
Anyone got any news?

New battery22 Sep 2005 22:33 GMT5
The original NiMH battery in my trusty old Siemens C45 needs replacing. Most
of the batteries for C45 that I see advertised are Li-ion; are they a
direct replacement, do I keep the same (original) charger?
I have a recollection of some phones being destroyed because of using a

Nokia 6230 Operator Logo22 Sep 2005 22:01 GMT8
I've just been given my Son's 6230 at the end of his Orange contract.
I've unlocked it using the Crux Unlocker and it works fine with my O2
PAYG SIM. The phone still shows the Orange logo at switch on and off.
Is there any way I can get rid if this?  The phone is software v04.48

O2 Upgrade :)22 Sep 2005 18:36 GMT2
Just rang O2 to get my PAC as my contract ended today and they offered me
500 Anytime minutes + 100 TxTs for £20 per month + £100 credit on my first
bill for keeping my V3 which means my total year price is £140 or £11.66 per
month.
