I have read post where people are selling the OVP Virgin tarrif. Whats so good about it? Do you cheaper rates or something? Is it PAYG or contract? Im on orange, when my contract ends, can i change the sim to OVP virgin

I was sent a text message today to my Voda (from a T-Mobile account). It arrived as a voicemail, not as a screen text message. Anyone know why this should suddenly start happening? Not too bothered about the cost as it's my work phone and they pick up

A colleague has had his Nokia 6230 replaced. The replacement has a new version of firmware installed, V 05.40. The previous version that I saw, and which I have here, is V 05.35. Anyone have any idea what is addressed in the new version? I couldn't find anything on the ...

Answer : When it's an upgrade Well at least that's what 3 reckoned. After months of problems with her U8120 and multiple reflashes, my wife finally called 3 and said she wanted her phone taken away for repair.

My Orange contract is expiring tomorrow and I'm giving my girlfriend my Nokia 6230 phone from the contract. She uses an O2 PAYG SIM card and when I tried to put her SIM into my phone it said something like "Phone restricted - Enter Security Code".

Seems to be a new marketing campaign. Nothing on their website about it though. What is it supposed to promote ? Is it a drip feed up to the Christmas market, where all will be revealed in a few weeks ? Laurie

Does the PUK code change or does it stay the same ? I have just been given a PUK code from Orange. They said that if the phone locks again, I will have to ring up again for a "new" PUK Code.

Am I missing something here? The TV-OUT which initially sounded like an amazing feature, is actually sh.t. It simply reproduces the phone image and sticks it in the middle of a TV

Apparently, according to Virgin themselves, 4 out of 5 cells in my area are down "long term" now, and it's impossible to use either Virgin or my Tesco SIMS (both use T-Mobile, so it's not surprising). What I liked about Virgin was the free voicemail and 10p customer services.

I have replaced my K700i with a Nokia 6680 and am trying to transfer the address book. the simple bluetooth send trys for ages and then just finished without sending, i have a bluetooth
