Question : When is a replacement handset not a replacement handset?11 Oct 2005 22:49 GMT11
Answer : When it's an upgrade
Well at least that's what 3 reckoned.
After months of problems with her U8120 and multiple reflashes, my wife

6230 - Changing SIM to PAYG11 Oct 2005 22:32 GMT4
My Orange contract is expiring tomorrow and I'm giving my girlfriend my
Nokia 6230 phone from the contract. She uses an O2 PAYG SIM card and when I
tried to put her SIM into my phone it said something like "Phone
restricted - Enter Security Code".

the Christmas market, where all will be revealed in a few weeks ?

Can't use t-mobile-based networks anymore.11 Oct 2005 19:27 GMT3
Apparently, according to Virgin themselves, 4 out of 5 cells in my area are
down "long term" now, and it's impossible to use either Virgin or my Tesco
SIMS (both use T-Mobile, so it's not surprising).
What I liked about Virgin was the free voicemail and 10p customer services.
