I'm going on holiday to Canada in a couple of weeks - spending most of the
time around Churchill, where there is apparently no cellphone coverage - and
the rest of the time in Winnipeg where there probably *is* coverage - but
not any that can be used by my oldish dual-band phone.

I've just received a note with my Orange bill saying that from 1
November they will be charging £1/month for itemised billing. Is this
applicable to all Orange tariffs?

Is it safe /of to exchange a battery from a 6230i and put it in a 6100
permanently?
The battery in the 6230i appears to be slightly thicker?  but fits in the
6100, vice versa

I have two phones on Vodafone. One went out of contract a month ago, the
other in 6 days time.
I seem to remember that asking for a PAC code shortens or removes the
notice period. Is that correct? If it shortens the period, by how much

Looking through the latest catalogue, O2 have extended their "6 point
promise" to include a point 7: If it's advertised and not in stock,
you'll get it free when it is.

I have searched all over on how to do this but come to a complete stop, what
I gather up to now is I need to get an unlocking code from my IMEI and
somehow input this into the phone to unlock it but cannot get any further
than this, could someone let me know how to do this ...

i have just bought a sony ericsson p9100i but the mms/wap/gprs settings are
set up for vodafone and i cant seem to delete them to put virgin settings
on.
the phone is unlocked it is just this problem

Couldn't put up with Orange's charges whilst on holiday in Florida so

I can pick up messages on my O2 voicemail (using a pin) from a landline but
not from an Orange mobile.
- i'm sure i'm dialng the correct number i.e. the Alternate number O2 give

Hi, i've just recently got a new contract phone from Car Phone
Warehouse. I have never given out this new number to anyone as its my

How ever I have been getting these text messages from 80078 which is a

My dect handset drops it digit from the display, or it seems to clear.
I can not complete a call. no matter what digit I input from the
keypad, it will clear in 2 seconds. I thought it was the reset board.
